Oasis have announced two massive extra Wembley Stadium shows after fans all over expressed disappointment after missing out on tickets for the reunion show.
The Whatever songwriters initially announced a 14-date stadium run after signing a deal to reform just seven weeks ago, but last week added three more UK dates due to “unprecedented demand”.
Unlike previous dates, these new tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process, with applications open first for the UK fans who missed out on tickets.
A post on the official Oasis X account read: “Two extra Wembley Stadium shows have been added due to phenomenal demand. Tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process.
“Applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many UK fans who were unsuccessful in the initial on-sale with Ticketmaster. More details to follow.”
There are still hopes the Mancunian Britpop legends will announce two more nights at Croke Park after fans vented frustrations at not getting tickets over the weekend.
After thousands of fans failed to secure tickets at GAA HQ on August 16 and 17 next year, Ladbrokes are quoting odds of 1/5 that more dates will be added at Croke Park.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “Oasis fever descended into chaos over the weekend with so many fans left disappointed not to secure tickets and with such huge demand, the odds suggest more dates will be added.”
