Shamrock Rovers fans won't have to shell out huge amounts of cash for away day tickets in the upcoming UEFA Conference League after the governing body put a price cap on tickets.

Stephen Bradley's side will have three away matches as part of the rejigged format and face English giants Chelsea in Stamford Bridge.

However, new pricing measures brought in by UEFA means fans of the Irish side will only have to fork out €20 for their tickets.

UEFA have capped away tickets at €60 for Champions League games, €40 for the Europa League, and just €20 for the UEFA Conference League.

"Today’s decision marks another key step in reaffirming UEFA’s commitment to enhancing the matchday experience for all fans," Aleksander Ceferin said after the announcement.

"By introducing more fan-friendly policies, we continue our mission to keep football as an inclusive sport where supporters who travel across Europe to follow their teams are valued and recognised."

Shamrock Rovers will travel to Stamford Bridge as well as away trips to Larne and Rapid Wien. They will host APOEL, The New Saints, and Borac.
