Ex Coronation Street star Adam Rickitt almost unrecognisable as he shows off new look

Former nineties heartthrob Adam Rickitt looks almost recognisable after sharing snaps from his latest adventure.
The former Coronation Street star, 46, burst onto the scene as the original Nick Tilsley in 1997 and later bagged a role on rival soap Hollyoaks. Now, however, Adam boasts a new career - and a completely different image.
During his two years on the Corrie cobbles, Adam was a fresh faced youngster with blond curtained hair. He whisked up a complicated relationship with Leanne Battersby during his time on the show. After taking a career break to try his luck with a singing career, Adam returned to Coronation Street for another two-year stint in 2002.

In 2017 he returned to his acting roots with a role on Hollyoaks as Kyle Kelly. He took on the role for three years before stepping away from the soap. He continues to act and was last seen on BBC's Doctors. Now, though, Adam looks almost unrecognisable with his new look.
He updates his followers on Instagram and shares his new style, with his shoulder-length blond hair, stubbled appearance and many tattoos. He has also bulked out over the years as he stepped away from the "boy next door" style.
Away from acting, Adam is travelling the world with his wife of 10 years, Katy Fawcett. Adam and Katy also own the Dexter and Jones bar in Knutsford, Cheshire, and previously he said it was their "ultimate passion".
His latest upload on social media came and Monday when he shared a number of snaps from their adventure in Sicily, Italy. He beamed as he gazed away from the camera with his locks swept back and muscles popping out of a crisp white shirt. He also shared an image of Katie looking radiant on a balcony wearing a red and white floral dress.
He captioned the upload: "Me...her...erupting volcano...what can go wrong!" It comes a day after he said he was "feeling blessed" to be on the journey with his wife. He also joked that "couples who trek up mountains together stay together" and shared a snippet of their latest trip with his 73,000 followers.
