The 35-year-old TV presenter has been teasing a big career announcement for weeks and this evening he finally shared the news with his fans. Taking to Instagram he shared a reel captioned: "It's happening... I've got my own airline! Air Rylan is welcoming passengers very soon".
In the video he says: "So, guys, I have been teasing you a little bit saying that I've got something to tell you. Well, I can tell you that I've gone and got my own airline, I'm very excited, it's called Air Rylan, it's not called RylanAir because of copyright reasons, I'm sure you're aware people might pipe up.
"It's something I've always wanted - it is landing very very soon and I can't wait to have my first passengers on board and you're welcome along for the ride. So keep an eye out and I hope you enjoy flying Air Rylan."

The video has had over 10,000 likes and fans have flocked to the comments section to discuss the news. Some people thought the video was a joke likening it to an April Fools, saying: "Is the 2nd September the new 1st April?" While others were excited to find out more.
One person wrote: "Oh my congratulations, do you need any Cabin Crew," another said: "This is bonkers congratulations". Some fans think the video is hinting at a new reality TV show Rylan has coming out soon, saying: "Is this a tv show or the real deal?" Another wrote:
While we know Rylan had been weighing up a career as a flight attendant before soaring to fame on the X Factor in 2012 we do not have any further details on whether or not 'Air Rylan' is going to be a legitimate commercial airline or whether it is part of an exciting new TV show in the pipelines.
