Oasis are said to be considering new music – and new tour dates.

It comes after fans were left extremely disappointed after spending hours on official ticket sites to try and get their hands on tickets for the upcoming reunion tour. It was confirmed on Tuesday that the band will be touring the UK and Ireland next year for their reunion, with Noel Gallagher, 57, and Liam Gallagher, 51, having not performed together since 2009. Tickets for the Oasis Live '25 world tour went on general sale on Saturday, following pre-sale the previous evening.

Amid disappointment among some fans who didn't manage to get tickets, it's been suggested that Oasis are considering putting on additional dates. A source told the Sun : "Noel and Liam are weighing up whether they can feasibly do more dates Next year's reunion tour is for their fans and they want to make them happy."

And one source told the outlet that Noel could invite his brother Liam, whom he had been estranged from over the years since the band split, to record new music with him. The source said: "[Noel] has [new] tunes ready to go and if things continue to work well with Liam then it could be absolutely amazing." It comes after Noel was spotted outside a recording studio in London just days ago following the news of Oasis' highly-awaited reunion.

Pre-sale tickets for the tour became available on Friday, following a ballot entry process. A number of fans were quick to criticise people who were then selling tickets, in some cases for thousands of pounds, which prompted Oasis to issue a warning to fans about reselling tickets.

Oasis said in a statement on Friday: "We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be canceled by the promoters."

General sale of tickets launched on Saturday morning and it was announced that same evening that tickets for the UK and Ireland shows had sold out. Whilst some fans are thrilled to have got tickets, others were left disappointed.

As previously reported, some fans were said to have been met with an error message when they had tried to buy tickets earlier. A spokesperson for Ticketmaster, one of the official ticket sites for the tour, denied the website had crashed and urged fans to "to hold their place in line" at one point.

TV presenter Dan Walker was among those who expressed frustration, with him writing: "There has got to be a fairer, simpler, more efficient way of selling tickets that isn't so open to touts, scammers, resellers & bots #Oasis. In the queue, out of the queue, refresh/don't refresh, wait in line, back of the line, accused of being a bot … timed out."

Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, who said she was trying to get tickets for relatives, described the experience as a "nightmare". She replied to Dan: "Same here [...] trying to get for my son and daughter-in-law. Nightmare." As previously reported, amid concerns from fans trying to get tickets, staff at Ticketmaster advised: "Please make sure you are only using one tab, clear your cookies, and ensure you aren't using any VPN software on your device."
