Amanda Holden shocks with new photo of husband as people ask if he's her son
The Britain's Got Talent star posted a sunkissed holiday photo of her and husband Chris Hughes, but the photo attracted questions about his age, thanks to the couple's youthful glow
Amanda Holden's followers have questioned her husband's age, after the Britain's Got Talent judge shared a holiday snap on Instagram.
The Heart Breakfast host, 53, has been sunning herself in Corfu, alongside her husband Chris Hughes, 51, with who she shares her two daughters, Alexa 'Lexi', 18, and Hollie, 12. The pair married in 2008, with daughter Lexi toddling around at the age of two. Her first marriage, to Les Dennis ended in 2001, after the couple married when Amanda was just 24.
While enjoying her break away, Amanda posted a gorgeous photo of the couple posing with the sun-drenched shoreline in the background, with her followers rushing to question her hubby's age.
Her former BGT co-star and pal David Walliams was one of the first to comment, quipping: "Mother and son. Lovely."

Another of Amanda's followers bluntly asked: "Is that your son?" A third jibed: "Easy on the filters, you look like you’re both going to a prom, you’ll probably get done for grooming, if you filter any harder." Another rudely added: "Surely this isn't her boyfriend, he looks too young for her."
But others were much more appreciative of the pair's youthful glow, with one saying: "I feel Amanda looks amazing, she obviously works hard to keep herself looking nice." Celeb mate Ruth Langsford gushed: "You gorgeous pair!" Another added: "You both look amazing You both look half your age at least. You are both very lucky to have each other and two beautiful daughters not forgetting Rudie and the rest of your animal family. I love you all."
Amanda and Chris are in fact a similar age, and have been going strong since they started dating in 2004 after meeting in Los Angeles. Speaking previously to Hello magazine, she said: "Chris is very funny and errs on the side of lightness. We can make jokes out of any situation throughout the best and darkest times of our lives. He's rubbish at romance, but he's there for the solid things – such as keeping my car clean and making sure I relax."
But while Chris' youthfulness remains a mystery, fans have long been interested in Amanda's beauty secrets, with the star's looks drawing much attention over the years. Having ditched jeans for risque outfits, Amanda flaunts her good looks with pride, but makes sure to keep a balance, admitting she enjoys butter and cheese and 'loves a drink'.
Back in 2009, she admitted she would consider surgical intervention to maintain her looks. She told "I'll go under the knife in due course. I'll have my eyelids lifted and probably have half a facelift under my chin," but she drew the line at lip fillers, saying: "I'd never get my lips done as that would look really obvious."
But following the traumatic birth of her daughter Hollie in 2012, Amanda has reconsidered her approach to cosmetic surgery.
In 2014, she was reflecting on her past choices and told the public: "Everybody knows that in the past, yes, I've talked about having Botox. Since spending too much time in intensive care after nearly losing a baby, I've not gone under the knife or had any injections."
She now attributes her glowing skin to non-surgical treatments, including her love for facials.
In 2014, she told the Mirror : "I've been having Collagen Wave facials. It's done amazing things to my face. I'm a fan of various creams and potions, too, and lots of water (and wine!), but really I think it's down to genetics. I'm up for anything, though nothing invasive."
