Sabrina Carpenter breaks her silence on rumours of split from Barry Keoghan
The Please Please Please hitmaker opened up about her romance with the Dublin star
Singer Sabrina Carpenter has broken her silence over split rumours with top actor Barry Keoghan.
The pair were rumoured to have called it quits after Sabrina confused fans when she shared on her TikTok the outro to Please Please Please played, featuring the lyrics: "If you wanna go and be stupid / Don't do it in front of me."
Breaking her silence on the reports, Sabrina told US publication Variety that Keoghan loves the lyrics to her songs and gushed about the Dublin actor, suggesting they are still very much an item.

The American star said: "He loved the song. He’s obsessed with the lyrics, and I’m so grateful for that.
"I don’t want to sound biased, but I think he’s one of the best actors of this generation.
"So getting to see him on the screen with my song as the soundtrack made the video better and all the more special…Barry’s a Libra, and so is my sister," she told Variety Magazine.
"They’re very different, but they have similarities. I tend to gravitate towards Leos as well.
"My dad’s a Capricorn, so maybe that’s not the direction for my future."
This summer, the Banshees of Inisherin actor appeared in Sabrina’s music video for her single Please Please Please and next year, the singer is set to take to the stage in Barry’s hometown of Dublin with a sold-out two-night run in the 3Arena.
In February 2024, the pair went public with their relationship when they were photographed together on a date night in Los Angeles.
Barry made their relationship Instagram official by commenting on a video Sabrina shared of herself performing a duet with Taylor Swift onstage during her concert in Sydney, Australia. She had opened for the Grammy winner for weeks but was unable to perform her regular set before the show that day due to bad weather.
In March, the pair attended Vanity Fair's 2024 Oscars after-party together but did not walk the red carpet with one another.
Then in May, they made their romance red carpet official at the 2024 Met Gala.
