Jake Paul has offered Mike Perry a job with his betting company after he was 'fired' by Conor McGregor.

Perry was dropped three times and ultimately stopped in the sixth round by Paul as they settled their beef in Florida on Saturday night. He was later 'sacked' from bare-knuckle boxing promotion BKFC, of which McGregor is a co-owner, when the Irishman took to social media.

“Hey Mike you’re released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired," he wrote. When asked to respond, Perry said: "He doesn’t…have a promotion because me and him are both owners of BKFC. He can’t fire me. We can fight bareknuckle. Look at me. I lost to Jake Paul. Why don’t you go fight Jake Paul and box him with the gloves on. I think it would be worse than Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather."

Perry is the reigning middleweight champion in BKFC but Paul has offered to help him out in the unlikely event he can't fight. "Mike Perry, as you got fired by Conor McGregor from BKFC, we will hire you at Betr into a partnership and give you some sort of role," he said on his podcast. "We'll figure out what that's going to be. Betr has a job for you, Mike Perry. We're just giving him another stream of income. He can keep fighting. We can maybe start a podcast with him or something; we'll figure it out."

Perry did, however, cast doubt on whether he would fight in the boxing ring again. "This was a good opportunity for me, a major event, a sold-out arena, great fans came and I tried to give them a fight and you know, it just doesn't look like that's the thing for me," he said.

"But I'll probably get back in the gym because that's all I know. And I'll train and I'll try to get better. And you know, I use it as a mental health thing. I train in the gym to be a better person… I’ve got to branch out on my training and get some different looks and you know, maybe just do a little bit of traveling and some life seeking and get myself out there and you know, also be more with my family."
