27-year-old Anthony McGwynne, from Loughanelton, Calry, Sligo, was tragically killed when the motorbike he was riding was involved in a collision with a Honda CR-V just before 9.30pm on Thursday, July 4 on Arbutus Street in Vancouver, Canada.

Vancouver Police said that despite bystanders and paramedics jumping to help Anthony and offer life-saving efforts, the young Irishman died at the scene.
