The GAA season is rapidly approaching its conclusion with Clare v Cork competing in this year's All-Ireland Hurling final as they both look to end their Liam McCarthy droughts.

It has been a Championship to remember for both sides as they are set to play in front of a capacity Croke Park crowd.

Cork looked to be in for a disastrous campaign after they lost their opening Munster clash to Waterford followed by a two-point loss to Clare but the Rebels turned their season around with a remarkable victory over Limerick in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

From there, it seems Pat Ryan's outfit have timed their run perfectly as they find themselves in their first final since 2021.

Clare, on the other hand, have looked good all year. Their lowlight was the Munster final when Clare were well beaten by Limerick but Brian Lohan's side bounced back with big wins against Wexford and Kilkenny to book their place in Sunday's final.

The final will take place at Croke Park on Sunday at 3.30 pm and the game will be broadcast live on RTE Two on the RTE Player.

The All-Ireland semi-finals for the Ladies Football Championship also take place this weekend with Cork taking on Galway and Armagh doing battle with Kerry. Galway blew the competition wide open with their win over Dublin in Parnell Park.

Both semi-finals take place at Glenisk O'Connor Park on Saturday with Cork meeting Galway at 5 pm while Armagh take on Kerry at 7.15 pm.

Here is a full list of fixtures taking place this weekend.
