The Nationalist Party has posted a tongue-in-cheek job listing for a new Energy Minister.

The job requirements include being willing to invest to guarantee power supply and being prepared to invest in the drainage system and keep bays clean and that candidates must be 'capable of being honest'.

This is in reference to the spate of power cuts some areas across the country have been facing over the past days, and some bays being declared unfit for swimming for a number of weeks.

The comic job posting asks 'candidates' to submit their CVs to 'laqwazmien@org.mt'.

The reason for the vacancy, the post reads, is that current minister Miriam Dalli 'disappeared in the middle of a crisis'.
