Maura Higgins and Pete Wicks reunite in hotel after weeks apart - but he doesn't look happy
Maura Higgins and Pete Wicks have been pictured together for the first time since the Irish beauty left I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Maura Higgins and Pete Wicks couldn't wait to reunite after spending weeks apart during her stint in the I'm A Celebrity jungle. Maura, freshly landed at Heathrow, dashed into a London hotel where Pete rushed to join her.
The Irish reality star was snapped all smiles in a selfie with friends, with Pete seen slightly less chirpy in the background amidst the crowd. They should have ample opportunities to catch up now, especially since Pete's recent exit from Strictly Come Dancing just before the final.
Maura, fresh out of the I'm A Celebrity camp, spoke of her pride in Pete's Strictly performance and teased about their relationship on ITV's This Morning by suggesting Alison Hammond could be a bridesmaid at their yet-to-be-confirmed wedding.

Maura expressed: "You do forget about the cameras, and I do like to keep things private, but let's be real, I said it. I can't remember saying it, but I said the words, 'I miss him'. I do miss him, like I missed all my friends and family."
She added that Pete had given her enormous support, saying, "Honestly, he's been so supportive, honestly. I didn't know if he was still in Strictly and I'm so proud of him, he's proud of me, and I can't wait to see him when I get back," reports the Mirror.
The romance rumours swirling around Pete Wicks and his Strictly dance partner Jowita Przystal have been shut down by the man himself, who explained: "We have great chemistry because we've become such good friends."
Meanwhile, during her jungle stint on I'm A Celebrity, Maura Higgins hinted at a mystery man she's been involved with since July, saying "he's not an a**hole". In a candid chat with Oti Mabuse, Maura confirmed she was single but had been seeing someone pre-jungle, adding after some hesitation when pressed by Reverend Richard Coles about exclusivity: 'I dunno'.
Maura also spilled the beans on her long-time acquaintance with Pete, revealing he's been keen on her for ages. "Yeah, we've known each other since five years, and never once..." she shared with Oti.
"He would always say, 'Oh no, like, we are gonna go on a date somewhere.' And I'd be like, 'We're actually not'. And I was deadly serious, 'We're actually not. You're delusional'.
Recalling their first date, Maura described how Pete pulled out all the stops with oysters and wine, and teased that now they're constantly in touch, sharing the same sense of humour. During his stint on Strictly, Pete was all in for Maura, constantly urging fans to cast their votes for her. He even quipped one time: "I've been George of the Jungle but now it's time to vote for Maura of the Jungle."
Before their reality TV stints this autumn, Pete and Maura kept schtum about their budding romance. Despite being spotted locking lips on several dates, they kept mum about each other until Maura spilled the beans in the jungle. Maura's candidness and zingers were a hit with I'm A Celeb viewers this season, although she just missed out on making it to the final showdown.
Instead, Danny Jones, Coleen Rooney, and Richard Coles vied for the crown, with the McFly frontman taking the title of King of the Jungle. Post-show, Maura opened up about the toughest part of her jungle journey, saying: "It was hard being away from mammy.
"The one thing I really wanted to do was face my fears, and it was one of those shows that I always wanted to do at some point of my life, and I just never knew when would be the right time, and this year was right. I'm so glad I've done it now, because the campmates and everyone just together, we just had such a family.
"And I faced my fear of spiders, and I hate every type of bug, but spiders, I don't know how I did it, I really don't. But I swore to myself before going in there, I will not say 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here', and I'm so glad those words did not come out of my mouth.
The Ballymahon-born star also mentioned that there were no rifts among the campmates. She added: "Honestly, I didn't see grumpiness from anyone if I'm being totally honest. Everyone just pulled together as a team, like we really just encouraged one another, it's very rare to have such a big group of people and for everyone to get on so well.
"And the little moments that you would have seen, because I haven't seen it, and I haven't seen the edit or anything, it's all just tongue-in-cheek. I think I heard something about Jane with the washing up, she wasn't even bothered, that woman worked so hard in there."
