Coleen Rooney breaks silence on potential feud with one I'm A Celebrity campmate
Coleen Rooney has opened up about her court case with Rebekah Vardy ahead of her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and admitted it depends on the conversation at the time
A storm could be brewing over in Australia as two celebrity campers look set to possibly clash in the new series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
Coleen Rooney is heading into the star-studded jungle on Sunday night as she makes her reality TV debut five years on from being dubbed Wagatha Christie. The Scouse star, 38, famously accused Rebekah Vardy of leaking stories to The Sun with an infamous social media post.
Jamie Vardy 's wife, who competed on the ITV reality show her in 2017, kicked off high-profile libel battle but in July 2022, a judge at the High Court found the post was "substantially true". Rebekah reignited the feud on Friday night as she took several swipes at Coleen in a bombshell interview.

Speaking ahead of meeting her fellow campers, Coleen hinted she might be up for discussing the infamous trial with Rebekah during her jungle stint, despite The Sun journalist Jane Moore being present. She stressed that while the issue might come up, it's not her focus: "That’s a place that I’ve been, I’ve dealt with it," she declared.
"I did the documentary to draw a line under it and it depends on what conversation it actually is at the time. " Emphasising her forward-looking approach, Coleen added, "In my life now, I’m just moving forward and not looking back. That’s something I’ve done my whole life, dealt with things and moved forward at the time and got on."
Prioritising her family, she noted, "There are more important things to think about with the family and kids. So it depends on the conversation at the time and what’s said. But talking to the press and stuff, I did the documentary to explain what happened, my view on it and just get on with my life really."
Despite speculation about turning the show opportunity into a full-blown return to TV spotlight or launching further television projects, Coleen remains measured, stressing her current work as an ambassador for Applied Nutrition: "I see this as a project. Since I did the documentary I took on other things, and I’m working for Applied Nutrition (health business she is working with as an ambassador)."
"I’ve been having talks about going back to work again and this is one of the projects. Whether I go into TV after this, I’m taking one step at a time. After I signed with the nutrition company, this is something else I’ve taken on board, she added. "But, no, at the minute this is my main focus then come out, enjoy Christmas which I’m really looking forward to and then we start again in the new year. Up to now, this is the only project that I’m working on at the moment."
Prior to Coleen's interview, Rebekah lashed out and claimed Coleen was following in her footsteps thanks to signing up for I'm a Celebrity. "Everyone seems to think I have this massive problem with Coleen going into the jungle, the WAG told The Sun.
"But do you know what? If you want to fan the fire, the flames are going to get higher. I wasn’t going to carry on talking about this, I had no intentions of talking about it but she clearly can’t let it go. We’ve done a book, we’ve done a documentary, we’re going into the jungle. I think she always wanted my life, she’s following in my footsteps."
