GAA legend praises Craig Lennon for famous All-Star achievement
Lennon became Louth's first All-Star since Paddy Keenan's remarkable 2010 season, and just the county's second-ever.
Mayo GAA legend Lee Keegan has heaped praise upon Craig Lennon after the Louth footballer was named as a member of the 2024 PwC All-Star team.
The St Mochta's half-back had a wonderful season for the wee county, notching 4-7 from play in the Championship as Louth were narrowly beaten by Dublin in the Leinster final before losing out to Donegal in the last-8 of the All-Ireland series.
Lennon becomes just the second All-Star from Louth, following in the footsteps of St Patrick's legend Paddy Keenan, who was named as an All-Star in 2010 after Louth's famous run to the Leinster final.

Reacting to Lennon's achievement, Keegan, a five-time All-Star during his intercounty career for Mayo, took to social media, posting: "Craig Lennon" with a string of clapping emojis.
Lennon wasn't the only Louth player to have a fantastic season, with Donal McKenny, Sam Mulroy and Tommy Durnin all being nominated for an All-Star.
Half-forward Ciarán Downey would almost certainly have been nominated had injury not curtailed his involvement in the All-Ireland series.
Lennon and co will likely be Dublin's biggest challengers in Leinster next season, and with the two teams on opposite sides of the draw, a third final meeting in a row between red and blue could be on the cards barring any shocks in the early rounds.
