Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden could be forced to leave the show after reportedly collapsing backstage following her live performance with JB Gill this weekend.
The 34-year-old professional dancer and her JLS dance partner danced their way to a score of 32 with their foxtrot to Dancing In The Moonlight by Toploader on Saturday night. Anton Du Beke thought it was a "super duper performance" while Craig Revel Horwood thought Gill could have gone further with the scarecrow character.
Moments after the live performance, it is believed she started to feel ill. An ambulance was 'called as a precaution'. A representative for Amy said: "Amy was feeling unwell and so an ambulance was called as a precaution. She is feeling much better and would like to thank the Strictly family for their love and concern. We request Amy's privacy in matters of health is kindly respected."

The star, who has been battling cancer for almost two years and also has Crohn's Disease, may be forced to quit the series, claimed an insider. Another professional could temporarily replace the star if she's ill. A source recently said: "Amy was obviously in huge distress. Everyone around her was equally upset because they felt so helpless."
“JB had to be given a hug. Even the medic who first attended to Amy needed support and consolation. The only thing they could do was try to get her to hospital as quickly and safely as possible," they told The Sun. The Mirror have reached out to ITV and Amy's reps for comment.
Over the weekend, a spokesperson the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called just after 9pm on Saturday to attend a medical emergency at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient, an adult female, was taken to Barnet Hospital for further care."
Her dance partner JB talked about Amy while she was absent from the results show. Asked by host Claudia Winkleman how happy, on behalf of them both, he was feeling about not falling into the dreaded bottom two, JB said: "Honestly, I'm beside myself and Amy of course is gonna be so happy that we're through to icons week. It's an amazing feeling." He also revealed that he will be performing a medley nexr week for couple's choice week.
He later took to Instagram to share photos from Halloween week. He wrote on Sunday night: " On behalf of both @amy_dowden and I, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for voting for us and wishing us well. We absolutely loved our performance on Saturday night and are SO grateful to be through to another week on @bbcstrictly Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support."
