'Karen and Karen 2.0' mum and daughter 'yelling at passengers' kicked off flight
A rude mother and daughter were escorted off a Southwest Airlines flight from Sacramento after they allegedly yelled at other passengers and demanded they move so they could sit in aisle seats
A bad-mannered mum and her daughter were booted off a flight after they reportedly shouted at fellow passengers and threatened to cause a ruckus mid-air.
The incident, which unfolded on a Southwest Airlines plane departing from Sacramento, US, was captured on video and went viral on TikTok. The video's caption reads: "They thought everyone should move so they could have an aisle seat."
User official_norcal_mom claimed that the disruptive duo had boarded an already full flight late, before others to move so they could get an aisle seat. The disruption that ensued led to the plane being delayed for an hour.

In the recently resurfaced footage from October 2021, the flight attendant is heard politely but firmly telling the rowdy mother to stop causing a disturbance - and is met with a hostile response. The crew member says: "We have families. We have little kids. We can’t have people yelling. You are screaming and yelling."
"We'll just go sit down," the daughter replies in a sarcastic tone. She then adds that her mother is "just gonna grab onto you and cry and scream on the plane".
When another flight attendant asks to put them on another plane, the pair walk past them to look for aisle seats. Ally said the flight was already delayed for two hours and they had to sit in the plane for another hour to wait for airport staff to remove the pair from the plane. A caption which appears after they are ejected from the flight reads: "Thank you SWA for removing the Karens from our flight!!!"
She added: "The flight attendant felt like the passengers weren't safe with that behaviour. They will likely not be allowed to fly SWA again. The whole plane applauded when they were removed." US airline Southwest Airlines operates a "pick a seat" system where they do not assign seats to individual passengers, instead putting them into different "boarding groups" based on the time they checked in on a first-come-first-serve basis.
