Oasis star Liam Gallagher has been slammed by fans as he shared a photo on his social media.

The Britpop band caused controversy this weekend when their 2025 reunion tickets went on sale. Fans battled queues lasting hours on Saturday to secure tickets, however many were left fuming at glitches and prices almost doubling due to 'dynamic pricing'. It has sparked a wave of criticism from fans, the music industry and government officials.

Oasis are yet to address their ticket controversy as it continues, however, Liam posted a photo of himself for a Stone Island campaign. Under the photo, one fan fumed: "Think of all those jackets you could buy for the price of a ticket Don't mind me I'm just raging I didn't get one!"

Another added: "Can’t afford a new jacket after buying 2 tickets for your Wembley show." Someone else commented: "The longer oasis hold their silence on the ticket pricing the worse its gonna get." A fourth declared: "More. Dates. Fare. Prices." One fan quipped: "Shame on you with the ticket prices...."

In his caption, Liam simply said: " LIAM GALLAGHER, ROCK ‘N’ ROLL STAR @stoneisland." Fans were left furious by soaring prices on tickets, leaving many empty-handed when they went on sale at the weekend. After an "unprecedented demand" for tickets to the Live '25 shows, many were stunned to see costs soar due to dynamic pricing.

Thousands also missed out on the reunion tour tickets as they battled with website issues - as well as being mislabelled as bots. The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has received 450 complaints about Ticketmaster adverts for the Oasis gigs. A spokesperson for the UK’s regulator of advertising said the complainants argue that the adverts made “misleading claims about availability and pricing”.

In 2022, Ticketmaster decided that when there is an increase of demand, a limited supply of tickets are allowed to go up in price. They say the point of the dynamic pricing system is to "give fans fair and safe access to the tickets, while enabling artists and other people involved in staging live events to price tickets closer to their true market value".

Oasis have come under fire for the pricing imposed and are yet to address concerns from fans, the music industry and government officials. Amid the scandal, an awkward post from Liam has resurfaced. In a tweet on X from 2017, Liam wrote: "350 dollars to go and see rkid in USA what a c*** when will it all stop as you were LG x."

He was hitting out at his brother Noel for the prices on his American tour - which is now the same as the dynamic pricing tickets Oasis fans saw. In response to the resurfaced post, one person said: "Well this is evergreen." Another fumed: "£380 for a "reactively priced" GA when people had spent 3 hours queuing. What sort of c*** would do that? As you were. BA x."
