Robbie Keane has been linked with a shock return to management.
He has been mentioned locally as a potential replacement for Serbian Milan Rastavac, who has parted company with Greek top-flight side Asteras Tripolis.
Keane has been out of work since his decision during the summer to leave Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv.
He led Maccabi to the Israeli title in his one and only season in charge.
Asteras are currently fifth in the Super League, with a win, draw and defeat from their opening three games.
Olympiacos currently top the table with a 100 percent record, with Shamrock Rovers’ recent Europa League conquers PAOK behind them on goal-difference.
AEK Athens and Aris are third and fourth in the table.
