David Clifford scored 3-5 from eight shots in the first half of this afternoon's Kerry Intermediate semi-final clash between Fossa and Laune Rangers.

The two-time reigning footballer of the year got his first score of the game with a goal inside 90 seconds before going on to kick a further 2-4 before to put Fossa 3-8 to 1-8 ahead at the break.

He notched another couple of points in the second-half but it wasn't enough as Luane Rangers staged a stunning comeback to win on a score-line of 1-19 to 3-11.

The men from Killorgin got the first score after the interval before a Clifford free restored the six-point advantage. Fossa however, only scored two more points for the rest of the game, the second of which came from Clifford to tie the contest with just 10 minutes remaining.

Luane went on to kick the final two scores of the game to edge out a two-point win. Austin Stacks await Luane in the final after their four-point win over Glenbeigh-Glencar.
