Grainne Seoige has laughed off suggestions of doing tantric yoga with her hubby Leon – but she refused to rule it out.

The TV presenter returns with a second season of Virgin Media’s dating reality show Grá ar an Trá. This week co-hosts James Kavanagh and Siomha Ni Ruairc teased a “naughtier” series with some saucy scenes.

And asked about drafting her sister Sile in to practise yoga with the contestants, Grainne replied: “You know what, anything is possible.

"I think that’s a great idea. I’ll put it to the producers for next year. I have done yoga with Sile a couple of times. Sile in particular does a lot of chanting yoga.

“She is excellent at it. So I have ommed with her.” Asked about raunchy tantric yoga with her South African husband, she laughed: “Wow. We’ll leave that there. I need a drink after that.”

Grainne Seoige, a rumoured candidate for Fianna Fail in the upcoming general election, refused to address the issue during a press round-table. But she did reveal she has tried to teach Leon Irish and he has taught her Afrikaans.

She said: “Yes we have taught each other plenty.

“I’m quite good at Afrikaans now, having lived in South Africa in Pretoria for about five years. He can greet people in Irish as well, he’s very good.” On turning 50 she mused: “It’s quite a few months ago now.

“We had a family celebration because my dad had a birthday five days before me. So we had a wonderful birthday celebration with family. It was great.”
