Aidan O'Shea has shared some 'calm before the storm' pictures ahead of the Mayo GAA's star wedding this weekend.
O'Shea, 34, is marrying his partner Kristin McKenzie Vass in Kerry this weekend and has been sharing photos of the pair to social media.
The Mayo stalwart popped the question to Kristin, a Grant Thornton business consultant, just over a year ago at Ashford Castle in Cong, Mayo.
Now the big day on the doorstep for the couple, with Kristin starting wedding preparations this week with facial treatments at Face Aesthetic Clinic in Castlebar, Mayo.
On Wednesday evening Kristin shared a photo of the two embracing, with Aidan wrapping his arms around her and kissing her cheek, with the caption "It’s nearly time", and a ring emoji.
She also shared a clip of her and Aidan during their car journey south with the caption “Kerry here we come,” and bride and groom emojis as Diana Ross's song 'I’m Coming Out' played in the background.
Aidan told RSVP Live about how he and Kristin met “randomly” six years ago.
"We met randomly in Dublin in 2017. We kept in touch after that and then she moved to London," he said.
"I visited her a few times and then one thing led to another. That’s how it panned out for us and we’re still together so something must have gone right."
Back in May, Kristin had her "final send off" with a boat party hen-do in Barcelona where she appeared in all white and grabbed a photo with a massive cardboard cutout of her future husband in his Mayo jersey.
