Dublin food charity Crosscare has confirmed Taylor Swift provided a “generous” donation following her trio of sold-out concerts in Dublin last month.

Taylor has been donating to food banks in cities she has been performing in across her Eras Tour and speculation was rife she had given generously to a charity in Dublin after her sell-out performances.

Now, in a statement, Crosscare, which runs food poverty services, has confirmed the donation and said it was "delighted" to receive it.

Crosscare said in a post on social media: “We are delighted to confirm that Taylor Swift has donated to Crosscare food poverty services following her incredible concerts in Dublin.

“We work with hundreds of families with children who struggle to provide good food every week. We provide them with essential food supplies, help them get back on their feet, and help them find a way to support themselves independently in the long term.

“Taylor's donation will enhance our ability to assist even more families in need in the coming months. Thank you Tay Tay! @taylorswift #taylorswift #swifties #Dublin.”

Crosscare operates from discreet locations around Dublin, offering food hampers to those in need while working with them to regain financial independence and the ability to shop and provide for themselves. The charity says the casework service gives clients "a hand-up in life, not just a handout".

Last year, Crosscare supported almost 800 families - including over 1,500 children - and distributed over 2,000 food hampers.

It was founded in 1941 as part of a wide range of initiatives by the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Dublin. Originally an emergency coalition to address poverty in Dublin, it expanded in the '80s towards the multi-service agency it is today.

In addition to providing food supplies and support to people, it also offers low-cost nutritious meals every week in its Portland Row café in Dublin. In 2023, the café served over 6,000 meals between breakfasts, lunches, and takeaways.
