Travis Kelce wore a Garda cap while partying with his girlfriend Taylor Swift and fellow NFL teammates during a night out in Amsterdam earlier this month. The 34-year-old sported the cap which is worn by members of the Public Order Unit in a picture shared online.

In the snap, the NFL player is beaming with his arm around his global superstar partner along with teammates Patrick Mahomes and Summitt Hogue and their other-halves.

Travis, who won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this year, was in Amsterdam to watch Swift perform the Netherlands leg of her Eras Tour. She performed gigs in the Dutch city on July 4, 5, and 6.

Before heading to the Netherlands, Swift performed three sold-out gigs at the Aviva Stadium and Kelce was spotted in the crowd on June 30.

The photograph was one of several shared by Summitt Hogue on his Instagram account. The picture was then posted by the official Garda Info X page with the caption “Nice hat, Chief!

“When you’re back to see us all in Ireland (Travis Kelce, we’ll be sure to present you with one of the 30,000 newly designed hats which will be worn by every member of An Garda Siochana by the end of the year.”

The post was then swiftly deleted.

It remains unclear how Kelce got the hat and why the post was deleted.

The Irish Mirror contacted the Garda Press Office for comment.
