Jayson Molumby identifies turning point in his West Brom season
The Ireland and West Brom midfielder signed a three-year contract extension with the Championship club last week
Ireland international Jayson Molumby believes his best is yet to come this season.
And he feels primed to deliver the goods for West Brom, having been boosted with a three-year contract extension last week.
The Waterford man only made five appearances for the Baggies across August and September, due to injury issues.

But he bounced back to form and fitness thereafter to become a mainstay in the team - even if he doesn’t see it that way.
“I don’t feel like a key player but I know what my strengths and weaknesses are,” said Molumby, ahead of West Brom’s FA Cup trip to Bournemouth on Saturday.
“I came here when I was about 21 or 22 and I’ve matured a lot in the years I’ve been here. I’m happy and I’m settled. Having consistency and a run of games helps massively too.
“I feel like I started the season slowly. I had a big injury and I was trying to get back into the swing of things.
“I was in and out of the team and I couldn’t really get much consistency going. The last 12 games or so I feel like I’ve played a lot more regularly and I’ve felt confident.
“It’s not as easy to improve or find that consistent level of performance when you’re not getting regular starts and you’re in and out of the team.”
Speaking to club media, Molumby continued: “There were seasons where I’ve been in the team regularly and I feel like I’ve had good seasons.
“There have also been times like last year where I was in and out of the team and then had the injury, which was tough. Lately I feel like I’ve been playing regularly and that stands well with me. I feel comfortable and confident.”
