Legendary LOI manager hilariously assures fans he has 'not yet' signed for Manchester United
Roddy Collins certainly hasn't lost his sense of humour.
With Erik ten Hag gone from Manchester United, speculation on who will be the next manager at Old Trafford is running rampant.
Gareth Southgate appears to be in with a shout, as does the likes of Graham Potter and Thomas Frank should the Brentford manager choose to leave the Bee's that is.
One man who won't be the next Manchester United boss is League of Ireland legend Roddy Collins, who hilariously assured fans on social media that his live show in the Clonsilla Inn will still go ahead despite the United job becoming available.

Posting a photoshopped image of himself in front of a Manchester United logo, Collins wrote: "To everyone who bought tickets for my live show in Clonsilla Inn and The Ambassador, don't worry I haven't accepted a deal yet at Man Utd, talks are ongoing. Shows will be going ahead with my associate."

While the respected LOI manager perhaps wouldn't have the name power for the Manchester United job, his personality and charm would almost certainly help him win over the media.
With Roddy distancing himself from the gig, many Manchester United fans are hoping that another Irishman is handed the keys to the kingdom at Old Trafford.
One fan wrote on X: "Give it Roy Keane, he won’t stand for any nonsense and will ship all the rotten eggs out the door faster than the speed of light."
Another commented: "Only one man for the Man Utd job at this point…..Mr Roy Keane."
Someone else said: "Now for God sake don’t repeat the mistake of Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ole, Rangnick and Ten Hag! APPOINT ROY KEANE NOW!!!"
"If I’m in the United board…I’d be giving it #RoyKeane till the end of the season…let him give those players some home truths before the next manager comes in!," read another comment.
Unfortunately for fans of Keane, the Irishman is as big as 200/1 with bookies, with the likes of Gareth Southgate, Ruben Amorin and Thomas Frank likely to be in the running.
