Pete Wilkins’ Connacht side make the trip up north to face Ulster at 8pm this evening in the fourth round of fixtures in this year’s URC.
Connacht suffered a two-point defeat in their opening game to Munster this season but have gone on to record a 36-30 win over Sharks and a 24-23 win over Scarlets since then and will be hoping to make it three wins on the bounce this evening at the Kingspan Stadium.
The game is being live on BBC NI, TG4 and Premier Sports. It will be live streamed on URC.tv with kick-off at 8pm.
On the other hand, it’s been a difficult start for Richie Murphy’s Ulster side.
They began with a win in Glasgow over Warriors but a 35-22 loss to Lions was followed by a 47-21 defeat to Bulls that leaves them just three points off the foot of the table.
Speaking to RTÉ ahead of the game, Connacht head coach Wilkins said: "We’ve got belief coming into this game, we’ve got a degree of form.”
"I’m not sure Ulster’s performances in South Africa will bother them too much. I reckon they picked that side against the Bulls with Connacht in mind the other side of it.”
