Legendary Irish Rebel band The Wolfe Tones will perform three historic shows at Dublin's 3Arena this weekend to mark their 60th anniversary.
The rebel-rousing troubadours, which currently comprises Tommy Byrne, Brian Warfield and Noel Nagle, will be celebrating their diamond milestone this Friday, Saturday and Sunday in what will be the last ever shows the band perform as part of their farewell tour.
The Wolfe Tones look set to bow out on a high and have promised fans that their three shows at the 3Arena this weekend will be a “unique and once-off experience”.

The are set to be joined by some yet-to-be-announced special guests, with Olympic hero Kellie Harrington tipped to join the band on stage at the 3Arena in a repeat of the Dublin boxer's appearance at the band's at Electric Picnic this summer.
The band also confirmed that their setlist will include famous songs and ballads from Celtic Symphony to Grace, Let The People Sing to The Streets of New York.
In a career spanning from 1964 to 2024, The Wolfe Tones have enthralled generations of Irish music fans around the globe and many will travel from across the world to attend.
They are cherished by the Irish across the world, their music is heard wherever our diaspora gathers, and this will be a homecoming event for many people who will undoubtedly travel from across the world to say they were present at The Wolfe Tones 60th Anniversary Concert.
If you were lucky enough to secure a ticket, here's what you need to know about the upcoming gigs.
Tickets
The Wolfe Tones' three gigs at the 3Arena are completely sold out for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, however fans are still in with a chance of bagging a ticket.
A small number of resale tickets are available to purchase via Ticketmaster, priced from €57.60 each. However these are expected to be snapped up quickly so you will want to act fast if you want to bag a ticket.
Stage times and support acts
Promoters MCD have confirmed that doors at the 3Arena will open each night at 6pm.
Two piece folk and ballad band Catalpa will get things underway each night at 7pm and are expected to perform a 30-minute set.
They will be followed by Dublin musician Ciaran Moran, who is scheduled to kick off his set at 7.45pm.
The Wolfe Tones will then take to the stage at 8.30pm each night, with the concert expected to come to an end at around 10.15pm.
An MCD spokesperson added that all times are subject to change, so fans are advised to get to the venue with plenty of time to spare.

Concertgoers can look forward to hearing the songs and ballads that helped to create legends in their own lifetimes, from Celtic Symphony to Grace, Let The People Sing to The Streets of New York.

How to get to the 3Arena
By train/Luas:
The Luas is typically the fastest way to get to the 3Arena via public transport from the city.
If you're travelling by train to Dublin, simply board the Luas Red Line to The Point stop from either Connolly or Heuston Station. This will helpfully take you straight to the doors of the 3Arena.

By bus:
There are also several bus routes that take you close to the 3Arena, including the 151, which leaves you closest to the venue. The service runs every 10 minutes at rush hour.
If you are taking this route, get off at Castleforbes Road, the closest stop to the venue, which is just a two-minute walk from the 3arena. Full details on buses, routes and specific stops can be found at www.dublinbus.ie.
Walking:
The 3Arena is roughly a 20 minutes' walk along the quays from O'Connell Street in Dublin's city centre.
From O'Connell Street, walk down the Northside Quays past the IFSC until you arrive at the indoor venue.
Driving:
Driving to the 3Arena on the night isn't recommended, but if you are, there'll be limited car parking available at Point Village car park.
