EuroMillions results: Irish player wins life-changing prize as ticket location revealed
An Irish player has bagged a whopping €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw after nailing all five numbers. While no one hit the €17 million jackpot, over 33,000 lucky players in Ireland walked away with other prizes.
The winning numbers for tonight’s staggering EuroMillions jackpot of €17 million are in. While there was no outright winner, one Irish player will be celebrating after scooping a six-figure sum.
The lucky individual won the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw by matching all five numbers correctly. These were 14, 19, 25, 43 and 49.
They stand to take home a life-changing €500,000 but as of now, have yet to come forward. National Lottery bosses are appealing for players to check their numbers carefully and as part of that appeal they have announced where the golden ticket was purchased.
It has been confirmed that the EuroMillions Plus winning ticket was bought by someone in Co Cork.

The winner is among over 33,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.
Other notable wins for Ireland include ten winners in the Ireland Only Raffle, each taking home €5,000.
Unfortunately, it was a less fortunate night for Irish players in the main draw, with the highest prize being just €123. Thirteen players will receive this amount after successfully matching four numbers plus one Lucky Star.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: "There was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot. In total, over 33,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games. There was one winner of the Plus top prize. The winning ticket was sold in Cork."
The winning numbers for the main draw are 7, 14, 19, 34, 40 and lucky Stars 6 and 8.
The winning numbers for the Plus draw are 14, 19, 25, 43 and 49.

The winner of the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus prize can contact the National Lottery Claims Department at 1800 666 222 (Monday to Friday, 9.15am to 5.30pm) to arrange for prize processing.
