Leinster posted their third league win from three outings beating Benetton with altogether too much ease in Treviso.

The Blues took just 26 minutes to secure their third consecutive bonus-point which, unfortunately, still left them with just under an hour's pitch-time against opposition unlikely to mount a comeback.

As it was, an ebbing tide lowered all boats and while the home managed five second half points, Leinster were scoreless for 38 minutes before a late, converted, Lee Barron try finished off the scoring.

Man of the Match Jack Conan put a brave face on it but there was the shadow of Ronan Kelleher having to leave the field injured after 12 minutes. Leinster and Ireland will hope the trip to Treviso doesn't have a hidden 'extra cost'.

"I just thought our 'next-moment' focus was really good," said Conan afterwards.

"We came out fast, it was a tough first few minutes but I thought the boys had the urgency.

"There was Joe and Caelan and the lads carrying the ball, getting over the gain-line, it gave us so much momentum, it was brilliant.

"Little bit sloppy in the second-half, a little indisciplined but it's great to have all the boys back and we are ready to lift it for the next few weeks."

Time now for the Blues to think about the game against Munster at Croke Park next Saturday (5.45pm).

"Pretty happy, couldn't ask for much more, fifteen points. I think the performances are gradually getting better. I thought the lads were incredible today.

"Our thoughts will be turning to Croke Park next weekend which should be something special. So the lads will get freshened up and get ready to go again."

Ulster lost 47-21 to Bulls in Pretoria, their first-half hampered by giving away seven scrum penalties.

Jacob Stockdale scored a marvellous first-half try while the two centres Ben Carson and Stewart Moore crossed for tries close to the end.

Ulster skipper Iain Henderson praised the three starting debutants, prop James McCormick, second-row Charlie Irvive and the try-scoring Carson as well as sub out-half James Humphreys who was making his senior debut.

"It is amazing to come here, it is an amazing stadium," said Henderson. "We had three starting guys and one sub earning their first caps and it is great to see those guys coming along, developing.

"What an opportunity for them to get a baptism of fire, to make sure they can build their rugby career going forward.

"For those guys who are incredibly inexperienced to come here and pick up, although maybe a hurtful loss, that's experience that they will put in their back pocket."
