Netflix fans gush over '10/10' movie - but issue warning about incredibly sad ending

Netflix users have been hyping up Daisy Edgar Jones ' '10/10' movie, Where The Crawdads Sing, but issued a warning about the heartbreaking ending.
The film is based on a novel of the same name written by Delia Owens. The movie, which originally came out in the summer of 2022, was recently added to Netflix's massive database and fans were quick to dive into the story of an abandoned girl (played by Daisy) who raises herself to adulthood in a North Carolina marshland.
She becomes a naturalist in the process but she becomes the prime suspect and is tried for murder when the town's well-loved hotshot is found dead. Fans praised the 'great movie' on a Netflix fan page which has members sharing all the platform's best movies with other fans.

After one user shared the movie, others rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts. "It's a good movie but the book is better," one user said and another said: "Highly recommend the book!" One fan warned: "Good one to watch. I really enjoyed this but it is sad at the end. I may watch again."
Others called it 'very good', 'outstanding' and '10/10'. Other stars in the movie include Taylor John Smith, Harris Dickinson, Michael Hyatt, Sterling Macer Jr., Jojo Regina, Garret Dillahunt, Ahna O'Reilly, and David Strathairn. Although the movie received mixed reviews upon its release, it was a big success at the box office.
It grossed $144.3million from a budget of $24million. The two-hour movie is based on Delia Owens' international bestseller, first published in 2018. The book became a word-of-mouth sensation and grew to become one of the top reads during lockdown.
The book sold millions of copies to date and spent years on the New York Times bestseller chart. Speaking at the Dublin premiere of Where The Crawdads Sing, Daisy Edgar-Jones revealed that she was one of the many people to pick up the book during the Covid crisis. She said: "I read it as I was auditioning, I loved the book.
"I really fell in love with that world. I’d never been to a marsh before, and I found the writing so vivid and I really became so immersed in it. I was reading it during Covid, the story is predominantly about a young girl who’s isolated, and I think that was something that I was like, I feel I can relate to certain aspects of this.
"This kind of lonely feeling is something we all have maybe felt during that time. We filmed in New Orleans in the marsh surrounding Louisiana, it’s a great backdrop for the murder mystery of the story because it’s quite a hostile environment. It’s not an easy place to live, it’s certainly not an easy place to film. We had crazy, crazy weather and big thunder and lightning storms that would shake your bed."
