Lucky EuroMillions player becomes Ireland's latest millionaire in Friday's draw
This September, the National Lottery are carrying out a series of special EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ and Lotto Plus Raffle events which will guarantee to make four brand new lottery millionaires throughout the month
One lucky Irish EuroMillions player has snagged more than one million euros in Friday night’s draw.
In total, over 64,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games including one winner of the 'Ireland Only Raffle' promotion receiving €1,005,000. The winning raffle ticket number is I-RCJ-65292.
There was also one winner of the EuroMillions jackpot worth a life-changing €149,017,789. The winning ticket was sold in Belgium.

This September, the National Lottery are carrying out a series of special EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ and Lotto Plus Raffle events which will guarantee to make four brand new lottery millionaires throughout the month.
These raffle events mean that there will be one guaranteed winner of €1 million in the EuroMillions draws on Friday September 6, 13, and 20 and another in the Lotto Plus Raffle draw on Saturday, September 28. This win was the first.
Commenting on the upcoming draws, a spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “We’re so excited to launch this incredible promotion which will see FOUR brand new Lottery Millionaires made this month! It’s going to be a whirlwind of winners in Lottery HQ!
"Typically, every EuroMillions draw produces ten winners of the €5,000 Ireland Only Raffle prize but over the next three Friday draws, we have created something extra special. In addition to the normal Raffle prize, one winner in each of the next three draws will win a life-changing €1 million in addition to the usual €5,000 Raffle prize.
"Similarly, the Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees between 80 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw but on Saturday the 28th of September, one player will win a whopping €1 Million on top of the usual €500 prize."
