Ruth Langsford's 'subtle digs' at Eamonn Holmes as she looks to 'draw line' under marriage
Ruth Langsford has been enjoying summery walks, brunch, and even had a new hairdo, all while sharing updates about her life on social media this month.
Ruth Langsford has been aiming a series of “subtle hints” towards Eamonn Holmes and his “rumoured girlfriend”, insiders say.
The 64-year-old has been taking to Instagram to share snaps on walks, enjoying brunch, and getting her hair done since the television duo announced their split. Eamonn, 64, meanwhile has reportedly developed a relationship with 42-year-old Katie Alexander.
An insider told Bella that Ruth is discovering updates about the pair in the press. She is said to have discovered their friendship when Katie was pictured in Eamonn’s Range Rover in July.

The source told Bella: “She’s posting subtle hints towards them. It’s her way of sticking two fingers up at them.”
Ruth is said to want to “draw a line” under her marriage with Eamonn, despite having been spotted still wearing her wedding ring on shopping channel QVC on Friday. Bella reported: "Ruth doesn’t want him to feel like he can pop back and forth when he likes to grab bits. She wants a clean slate and has even told friends she might change the locks."
It comes as Eamonn is currently taking a break from his regular slot on GB News. He told viewers he was heading off on annual leave and would return “next week”.
Ruth has also recently hinted that she and Eamonn are unlikely to maintain a relationship after their split. She told pop star Sinitta that she was lucky to remain pals with ex Simon Cowell. Ruth said: “Not everyone can do that.”
Eamonn however is said to have been keen to remain friends with Ruth, after the couple were married for over 14 years. However, he confessed it was probably “too soon” to tell.
Katie’s own ex-husband has come forward and offered his sympathy to Ruth. Speaking to The Sun, George Alexander said he was "heartbroken" when his own marriage came to an end.
He said it took “years” to recover from the split. He added: "She's going through what I did after our marriage ended."
The Mirror has reached out to Ruth's representatives for a comment.
