Oasis tour: Band coming to Ireland as part of 14 huge shows - how to get tickets
Liam and Noel Gallagher confirmed on Tuesday that Oasis are getting back together for a string of blockbuster shows. They will perform two concerts in Ireland as part of a huge 14-date tour.
Liam and Noel Gallagher have confirmed their Oasis reunion with two Irish dates and 12 UK shows- telling fans: "The stars have aligned. The great wait is over." The band will hit the road beginning in Cardiff and ending in Dublin and the gigs will form part of a world tour for Oasis, which is expected to earn the Gallagher's tens of millions of euros.
Liam and Noel posed in a new black and white photo together as the full details of their first shows in 16 years were announced at 8am. And in a joint statement on behalf of Oasis, the brothers said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
The OASIS LIVE 25 world tour will hit Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin's Croke Park in the summer of 2025 before heading to other venues outside Europe.
The remainder of the band is yet to be confirmed, but it is thought Gem Archer who is friends with Noel and Liam could well be involved. Rumours about the Oasis tour began on Sunday when reports suggested they might reform.

Liam responded by saying "I never did like that word FORMER" on X, which was thought to refer to him often being labelled as the 'former Oasis singer'. Liam also told another fan he had "world domination" planned for next year on social media. He then played Reading festival on Sunday night and dedicated the song Half The World Away to his brother.
Today's announcement about the tour dates also states: "Plans are underway for OASIS LIVE 25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year." It did not go into further detail of countries they could play.
Oasis split after Noel became fed up of rowing with his brother Liam on tour. Fans of the Manchester rock band have pleaded with the brothers to regroup since they disbanded in 2009, prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Noel said in a statement the "intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable" and went on to go solo, with Liam following suit and both enjoying success.
Formed in 1991, the group rose to fame with hits like Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger and Stop Crying Your Heart Out. They went on to become arguably one of the biggest bands in British music history. The 2025 tour will coincide with the 30th anniversary of their iconic album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? which is one of the best selling LPs of all time.
Liam celebrated the same anniversary of their debut album Definitely Maybe with a solo tour this Summer which has been a huge success, whilst Noel has been touring with his High Flying Birds band. But fans, some of who have never seen them play live, have been desperate to see Oasis back together for many years.
Tickets for Oasis 25 Live go on sale on Saturday and the shows are expected to be the most sought after tickets in music history. Rumours suggest extra dates could be added to the tour as the gigs are well spaced out throughout July and August in 2025.
