The UK Met Office, meanwhile, has separately issued a Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for all six counties in Northern Ireland, which will come into effect at midnight on Sunday and remain in place until 7am on Monday morning.

Both warnings say that affected counties will be hit with a band of heavy rain, possibly thundery at times, that will move eastwards across the country from Sunday night.
