Taylor Swift's fans in Vienna were gifted to necklaces from jewellery brand Swarovski after the singer's Eras Tour show was cancelled due to an alleged terrorist plot
Taylor Swift fans were left disappointed when the singer's Eras Tour show was cancelled due to an alleged terrorist plot in Vienna.
But in order to make amends, the Vienna Tourist Board took to social media to share their thoughts on how fans, who flew to Vienna to see Taylor, can still enjoy their time in the Austrian capital. One of the suggestions was for them to trade in their tickets for the cancelled show, and in exchange, they would receive a necklace from Swarovski.
And one fan posted on X: "Swarovski are giving away necklaces to Vienna Swifties. You just have to show your ticket."

The necklace that is being gifted is a large crystal set on a grey leather string. Some of the items were circle pendants, while others were clear blue stones.
And fans clearly didn't need to be told twice about their gift, as a video posted on TikTok, showed fans queueing outside the store. So much so, that the tourist board posted a message saying that the demand was so great, the store ran out of stock.
Taylor has refrained from making a public announcement about the alleged plot but it was reported that a third suspect had been arrested. The suspect is believed to be a teenager, like the other two suspects, who are reportedly radicals of ISIS-K.
Police have reportedly said that the main suspect was a 19-year-old man who planned to attack the concert, as they were outside the Ernst Happel Stadium, with knives and machetes. According to officials, the alleged attacker had explosives on him in a bid to "kill as many people as possible." UN undersecretary for counterterrorism Vladimir Vorokov said: "The group is considered the greatest external terrorist threat to the continent."
The cancellation of the concert did little to dampen the spirits of fans as they were seen swapping friendship bracelets, while singing Taylor's songs. A fan wrote on TikTok: "When Swifties take all over your street."
Taylor is expected to resume the last segment of her Eras Tour in London at Wembley Stadium. Prices for remaining tickets have now gone through the roof on resale websites including Viagogo and Gigsberg.
Some tickets are now as much as £6,515 (€7,593) and the cheapest ticket is £416 (€484). When tickets were first released, they ranged from £58 (€67) for restricted view seats to £110 (€128) for standing.
