Taylor Swift was forced to cancel has Austrian leg of her Eras Tour after police put a stop to an 'ISIS terror attack plot'.

While two suspected extremists were arrested after alleged plans were foiled, the songstress' three Vienna gigs were pulled on grounds of safety.

Austrian ticketing service Barracuda Music announced the cancellation news on Instagram, with a statement reading: " Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Vienna Shows Cancelled Due to Government Officials Confirmation of Planned Terrorist Attack. With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety."

Now, a PR to the celebs has revealed exactly what Taylor, 34, should do next, labelling crisis management crucial to any celebrity and "probably the most important work we do as publicists in many respects".

Jane Owen, of JOPR exclusively told the Mirror : "If I was her [Taylor Swift's] publicist right now I would be doing several things simultaneously; Crafting messaging that emphasises the real and serious danger of NOT cancelling and letting everyone involved and impacted know that these measures were taken because they were incredibly necessary for the safety of the fans and that Taylor Swift puts their safety above and beyond anything else."

Jane said crafting empathetic messages that touch on the emotion fans with tickets would have faced should come from Taylor herself. She said the star should express a commitment to rescheduling any concerts that needed cancelling and said she could also encourage support groups and inter-fan relations for fans to maintain a sense of community through this difficult time.

"I would also recommend that maybe Taylor Swift's team put together something virtual for the fans that had tickets to those concerts, in addition to being reimbursed," Jane continued. "Many of the fans that lost out on experiencing her concert have expressed that they lost something more than money, so there may be a way to compensate them with a virtual message or song, I think it would be an interesting idea to explore."

Jane went on to say that we live in a world in which terrorism and violence can "come out of nowhere", calling it a "horrible nightmare reality we are living in".

Returning to her Taylor comments, Jane concluded: "Hopefully Taylor's team can create a level of heightened security to be able to finish the Tour, however, we should not be surprised or blame her if she was to cancel the whole thing. People's safety is more important and always should be.

"I have a lot of respect for the way she has handled things so far and I give credit to her as a person and her team as a whole, for managing a truly nightmare situation with intelligence, grace and consideration."
