A man was injured last night when two cars crashed in National Road, Floriana, at around midnight, the police said.

The accident involved a Renault Megane driven by a 45-year-old man of Qormi and a Ford Focus driven by a 39-year-old man of Balzan.

The Balzan resident was taken to hospital with grievous injuries, the police said.
