Zelensky to meet Mattarella, Meloni in Rome on Friday
Meeting with Biden off after US president cancels trip
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky
will be received by President Sergio Mattarella in Rome on
Friday and then have a meeting with Premier Giorgia Meloni,
sources said on Thursday.
Zelensky had also been expected to meet United States President
Joe Biden in Rome on Friday but Biden has cancelled his planned
trip to Italy this week because of the deadly fires raging in
the Los Angeles area.
