Govt announces over 19,000 civil-service hires
Most among police forces
Civil Service Minister Paolo
Zangrillo on Thursday announced that he has signed a decree for
the recruitment of 19,615 people in various areas of Italy's
public sector.
He said 16,663 of the hires regarded the 'security sector' - the
Carabinieri, Finance, Penitentiary, State police forces and the
National Fire Brigade Corps.
