Rome uni faculty occupied, stop cuts and reform
Slogans against Gaza war, minister Bernini
Students on Wednesday occupied the
top floor and roof of the faculty of letters at Rome's Sapienza
University protesting against the Gaza war, a reform announced
by University Minister Anna Maria Bernini, and education
spending cuts.
The occupation is "against war, cuts and the Bernini reform",
the students said, announcing an assembly for 6 pm.
On the facade of the Faculty there is also a banner that reads:
"Israel is leading us to war. Stop Escalation".
In front of the entrance there is also a silhouette of a donkey
and above it the words "minister Bernini".
