Train conductor attacked by ticket-less passenger
punched in face then pepper-sprayed near Arezzo
A train conductor was attacked by a
ticket-less passenger near Arezzo in Tuscany on Saturday, his
company TFT said Monday.
It is the latest in a string of assaults on transport staff
across Italy including a train ticket inspector who was stabbed
near Genoa last week.
On Saturday the railwayman was first punched in the face and
then pepper-sprayed, TFT said.
