Defend selves from Musk, undermines State sovereignty -ANM
'The independence of the judiciary is no longer at stake'
Magistrates union ANM said Tuesday it
must defend itself against Elon Musk after the tech tycoon
called for judges in a key Italy-Albania migrants ruling to be
removed, saying he undermined the sovereignty of the Italian
State.
"We are shocked by this intervention by a very powerful foreign
magnate," said the vice president of the National Association of
Magistrates, Alessandra Maddalena.
"Here the independence of the judiciary is no longer at stake,
but here it is a question of the sovereignty of the Italian
State. First of all we should think about this type of defense
and then that of jurisdiction".
