Landini says 'anger prevailed in US vote'
Worsening of living conditions, demand to end wars - CGIL chief
Maurizio Landini, leader of Italy's
biggest and most leftwing trade union CGIL, said Wednesday anger
had prevailed in the US presidential election won by Donald
Trump.
"We must take note of a democratic vote that was expressed and
of an explicit consensus that made Trump prevail," said Landini.
"I believe that behind this there is certainly also anger.
"An anger that was expressed also starting from a worsening of
people's living conditions and from a demand for 'enough wars'
and to solve the problems that people have".
