Brave Scoliosis patient Noah Quish’s family has revealed X-ray images of his spine curvature and announced that he needs more back and hip operations.
Noah, who is aged only seven and also has autism, has already had 13 surgeries on his back, heart, brain operations, lungs, appendix, and stomach. Despite everything, his devoted mum Una said: "He is doing really well lately and full of mischief."
Una told the Irish Mirror: "Noah had the best Christmas at home with his family. He was never as healthy as he was this Christmas. He enjoyed the lead up to Christmas and, of course, Santa. His favourite gift was a scooter, which he adores, and he's well able to manage it."

Noah (7), who needed open heart surgery at just four months old, is described by his family as their "little miracle". Una told the Irish Mirror: "As for surgery this time, it feels more daunting as he is so healthy and hasn't had any complaints regarding his spine. Before, he was sore and needed surgery, so we were eager to have it done, but seeing him so happy and jumping around makes us feel anxious about surgery. But it has to be done and we know he is in good hands in Crumlin Children’s Hospital in Dublin with his orthopaedic team."
Noah, from Limerick, has had several complications besides scoliosis, which is when the vertebrae form a curved line instead of being straight. He was born in March 2017 and was diagnosed with a heart condition, severe obstructive Laryngomalacia, scoliosis, malformation of the brain, severe sleep apnoea, a chromosome deletion, meningitis and autism.
His back pain was so bad last month that he underwent another operation just before Christmas. Doctors also assessed if Noah needs a new hip urgently because he is struggling to walk and is having injections to manage pain in his legs.
He has had six brain operations, two heart ops, one on his lungs, one on his appendix, one that required a feeding tube to be inserted into his stomach, and two on his spine.
A fundraiser on GoFundMe page Noah's Long Road To Recovery is targeting €15,000 and has so far raised €14,130 but needs more.
