Man, 80s, dies following horror collision in Louth
A man in his 60s and a male child also received treatment at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda after the collision but their injuries are not life-threatening
A man in his 80s has died as a result of a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Louth on St. Stephen’s Day.
Gardaí have renewed an appeal to the public for information relating to the incident after confirming that a man in his 80s, who was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision in Plaster last Thursday, 26 December, passed away from his injuries on Monday afternoon.
A man in his 60s and a male child also received treatment at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda after the collision but their injuries are not life-threatening.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward. They are appealing in particular to road users with camera footage who were travelling on the N1 on Thursday, December 26, between 6.15pm and 6.45pm to make the footage available to Gardaí.
