If there's one thing the Irish love, it's a great deal - and Black Friday never disappoints. As winter sets in and the weather turns colder, many of us are already dreaming of sun-soaked escapes.

Whether you're planning a city break or a beach holiday, there's no better time to book your next trip. To help entice you, Ryanair has kicked off an early Black Friday sale and is offering a fantastic buy-one-get-one-half-price seat promotion. But there is a catch - you'll need to act fast to grab this offer.

To secure two seats for a fraction of the cost, you'll need to book before midnight tonight, November 28. These discounted fares are available for travel between December 1, 2024, and February 16, 2025, excluding the Christmas period from December 18 to January 8.

A Ryanair spokesperson said: "Black Friday is here (almost). Score a half price deal for your favourite plus one today. Hurry to secure this offer before it’s too late."

The flash sale applies to flights departing from Dublin, Knock, Cork, and Shannon airports, with a wide range of destinations to choose from.

Flights from Dublin include popular spots in Turkey, the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Portugal, Latvia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Slovakia, Morocco, Lithuania, Netherlands, Hungary, Estonia and Finland - with fares starting as low as €24.99.

At the time of writing, a round-trip flight from Dublin to Malaga between February 4 and February 11 could cost as little as €58 per person, or a round-trip to London Stansted from January 6 to January 9 could be as low as €33 per person, thanks to the half-price deal.

Meanwhile, for anyone already thinking about Christmas shopping, Ryanair are selling gift cards starting from just €25. A spokesperson said: "Save yourself the shopping stress in December and wrap up your shopping with a gift they’ll really love - a Ryanair gift card. Starting from €25, get them the gift of travel today and let them choose from over 250 destinations. It’s the gift no one will want to return."
