Fan involved in furious bust-up with Roy Keane details what started row
Neil Finbow, an Ipswich Town supporter, has claimed to have been one of the fans involved in the furious bust-up with former Manchester United captain Roy Keane at Portman Road on Sunday
An Ipswich fan who claims to have been "offered out" by Roy Keane has revealed what started the furious bust-up with Manchester United 's former captain.
Keane, who previously spent time as Ipswich manager, was on punditry duty for United's trip to Portman Road on Sunday. After the game, he can be seen exchanging words with a group of home supporters, appearing to tell one individual that he would "wait for him in the carpark".
Ipswich supporter Neil Finbow has posted on social media claiming to have been one of the fans confronted by Keane. His Facebook account, which is set to public at the time of writing, includes a number of posts in relation to Sunday's incident as well as previous Ipswich games.

"New claim to fame just been offered out into the carpark by Roy Keane after a few choice words even Jamie Redknapp had to come over to get him away just ya average Sunday evening out," Finbow wrote. Mirror Football has contacted Finbow for further comment.
After being asked about what he said to Keane, Finbow confirmed he had spoken to the Irishman about his time as Town manager. Keane was in the dugout between 2009 and 2011, finishing 15th in the Championship in his one full season, and was sacked in January 2011 with the team hovering a few places above the drop zone.
"Yep did remind him he set us back five years and ruined our football club - I also mentioned he wasn't fit to step foot anywhere near our ground," Finbow wrote on Facebook.
"Oh and I mentioned about him walking out on a World Cup and breaking [Alf-Inge] Halaand's leg and putting it in his autobiography I hate the bloke and that's been boiling up since he got sacked all those years ago."
In a separate post, he shared video footage of the incident, along with some cry-laughing emojis and the caption: "offering us all outside". In yet another, though, he also found time to praise the Tractor Boys for their performance.
"Apart from Keane being a k*** that was an enjoyable game against a so called "one of the biggest clubs in the world " proud of the boys in blue ITID," he wrote. United went ahead inside the opening two minutes through Marcus Rashford, only for Omari Hutchinson to equalise for Kieran McKenna's side.
"We could have won the game, we finished the first half in the ascendancy and deserved to be at least level," McKenna told BBC Sport after the draw. "The second half was competitive, we had a few big chances but had to be disciplined with our defending.
"On another day we could have won it but if you concede an early goal the game could have run away from us so credit to the players. When we have a setback then everyone responds really well and doubled down on what we needed to do. As the half went on we got more aggressive and more brave."
The match was Ruben Amorim's first as United head coach, but he was unable to build on that dream start to clam all three points. After the draw, he outlined the challenges ahead.
"Not a good result but it is a tough league with high intensity," he told BBC Sport. "We started very well but should have had more of the ball. But we are learning."
When asked about his first Premier League experience, he added: "It is a great environment, a great spectacle. But when the game starts it is like I am back in Portugal or the third division.
"I am so focused everything is the same. You guys are so lucky to have the best league in the world. I am really happy to be here but today I don't feel much because I like to win games."
