Zayn Malik issues statement as he's forced to postpone two shows due to 'unforeseen circumstances'
Zayn Malik was forced to reschedule two of his Edinburgh shows due to 'unforeseen circumstances' as he takes to social media to inform his fans apologising for the schedule change
Former One Direction star Zayn Malik has announced he's been forced to reschedule two of his Edinburgh shows due to "unforeseen circumstances."
The 31 year old father of one took to his Instagram account and informed fans that his November 20 show has now been changed to December 8 and another show of his Stairway To The Sky tour show on November 21, has been rescheduled to December 9.
He had previously postponed the American leg of his tour following the "heartbreaking loss" of his pal and former bandmate Liam Payne. Alongside his post, he wrote: "Due to unforeseen circumstances (the) Zayn Stairway To The Sky Edinburgh show original scheduled for November 20 has been rescheduled for December 8. A further date on November 21 at the same O2 Academy Edinburgh venue has been moved to December 9. All tickets for the original show dates will be honoured on the rescheduled dates."

Zayn quit the band that was created on the X Factor in 2010, five years after achieving world-wide success. And following his departure, the remaining members of the band Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, announced a year later that they were taking a break from the pop group.
On the back of Liam's tragic death last month, Zayne wrote that he "never got to thank" Liam for supporting him through some of the "most difficult" in his life.. He continued: "I lost a brother when you left us and can’t explain to you what I’d give to just give you a hug one last time and say goodbye to you properly and tell you that I loved and respected you dearly. I will cherish all the memories I have with you in my heart forever."
He added: "There is no words that justify or explain how I feel right now other than beyond devastated. I hope that wherever you are right now you are good and are at peace and you know how loved you are. Love you bro." Liam fell from the third floor balcony of his hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16.
And now three people have been arrested in connection to the star's death. Prosecutors said that one person is accused of "abandonment of a person followed by death". Fans from across the globe have continued to hold vigils in memory of Payne. Moments after Liam's passing, those close to Zayn revealed that his loved ones "don't want him to be alone" and so he was "surrounded by his friends."
A source recently told the MailOnline: "Zayn was told in the early hours of this morning and has been in absolute bits. He is in shock, and his parents have been in touch with Liam’s family to offer their support and condolences. People close to Zayn don’t want him to be alone at the moment, so he is surrounded by friends." The insider claimed that the pair hadn't spoken for some time due to "issues they had with one another in the past." However, it is believed they still had respect for one another.
