The first series of the Addams Family spin-off became a massive hit after its release on Netflix in November 2022 and soon became the streamer's most-watched English language show of all time.
Now it has been announced that season two of the series is adding chart-topping singer and Oscar-nominated actress Lady Gaga in a mystery role.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Gaga is currently filming her role, which is being kept under wraps for the time being, with production on the series taking place in Ireland.
Wednesday's first season was filmed in Romania between September 2021 and March 2022, however, season two is being shot in Ireland due to logistical difficulties with the original production, with most of the filming taking place at Ardmore and Ashford Studio in Co Wicklow.
Many of the show's stars have been spotted out and about in Ireland over the past few months while here filming the second season of the hit series.
Star Jenna Ortega was spotted enjoying the festivities at Forbidden Fruit over the June Bank Holiday weekend, while the actress was also seen at Chappell Roan’s gig in Dublin in September, and more recently, in attendance at last Friday's Ireland vs New Zealand rugby game at the Aviva Stadium.
Ortega's Wednesday co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones has also being enjoying her time in Ireland. The Oscar-winner and her husband Michael Douglas enjoyed an intimate lunch at The Gables in Foxrock, south Dublin, in September to celebrate both their birthdays, with the Hollywood couple also celebrating the occasion with Bono.
Irish fans are sure to be keeping their eyes peeled in the hopes of catching a glimpse of Lady Gaga over the next few weeks.
