TV crew sparks outrage by film

A TV crew has come under fire after being accused of disrespectfully filming at the cemetery where Liam Payne's body was briefly held. The Argentinian show 'Socios del espectáculo' captured footage from the British cemetery in Buenos Aires, which housed Payne's remains before they were repatriated to the UK earlier today.

The much-loved 31 year old met a tragic end after falling from his third-floor hotel room balcony. Payne suffered various injuries leading to "internal and external haemorrhage" which ultimately took his life.

Liam's body remained in Argentina for three weeks pending an autopsy by medical examiners; afterwards, he was embalmed and prepared for repatriation. Amidst public mourning and tributes, a male host from 'Socios del espectáculo' filmed outside the cemetery gates before venturing inside - a decision the Mirror has respectfully chosen not to show.

The Argentinian broadcaster boasted about having "exclusive access" to the chapel where Payne's body supposedly lay since the previous Friday, proceeding to film morbid footage on site. .

On top of that, as he pushed into the building, the presenter shared to viewers that the late star's funeral is expected to see a turnout of numerous heavyweights from the music and entertainment industries, acknowledging Liam’s global fame, reports the Mirror.

However, the Cementerio Británico de Buenos Aires confirmed to the Mirror that the late singer's body was not present when filming began. They exclusively stated: "The coffin was here five days, time needed to prepare everything for the travel to England. In the video you can see our chapel and the place where the coffin was. This video was recorded six hours after the coffin was transported to the airport."

Fans of Liam have expressed their anger over the broadcast, with one commenting: "How could they film inside the funerarium? ? ! ! ! ! " "Damn they are real disrespectful," vented another.

A third added: "Why is his coffin on the news? ? ? ! ! give the man some respect and let him rest in peace! " It's expected that Liam's funeral will take place in the next few days, with an announcement from the Payne family anticipated. A source told the Daily Mail: "Liam will have a very big send off, quite probably at a large cathedral somewhere close to his heart. Liam was so loved by so many people, there will obviously be enormous demand and so the service will necessarily be a huge affair. The details are still under wraps until they are definitively signed off but should be announced very soon."
